Spiritual leaders Jagatguru Rajeshwar Mauli Sarkar took the ‘kumkum’ leaves to the holy town of Ayodhya

In planning for the Ram Mandir pran pratishtha ceremony planned for January 22, five hundred kilograms of kumkum clears out have been sent from Amravati, Maharashtra, to Ayodhya.

Spiritual leaders Jagatguru Rajeshwar Mauli Sarkar and Jitendranath Maharaj transported the kumkum leaves to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The departure ceremony, held on Thursday, was attended by local MP Navneet Rana in Maharashtra.

The pran pratishtha, or consecration, of the idol of Bhagwan Ram, placed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ayodhya’s Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, will take place on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the ceremony for Shri Ram Lalla.

In light of this auspicious event, several states, including Tripura, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, along with the central government, have announced a half-day off for government offices and educational institutions on January 22.
